It’s the ‘V-Word’ Day

Okay, it’s not technically the 14th. I missed it by a few hours. You had to know this was coming though. The great V-Day Rant. I’m sitting here listening to punk covers of Summertime, Uptown Girls, Ranbow Connection, I Get Around and more, trying to do a paper and not think about V-Day.
First, I’m gonna explain that punk cover thing. Ever heard of the band Me First And The Gimme Gimmes? Basically, they have a couple albums that are all punk covers. Showtunes and stuff, as well as an album full of various covers like Uptown Girls, the Cheers Theme, I Get Around, Leaving On A Jet Plane. I picked up the MP3s. Pretty cool, and helps get my mind off the topic of the day.
