Okay, you know the people I’m talking about. The cute, adorable couples who go out in public and practically hump each other in a room full of people. I was at Average Joe’s with Matt last Saturday, and at the bar was the most pathetic couple I’ve ever seen. Given she was really hot, so I can’t blame the guy for wanting to be all over her, but damn, couldn’t they at least get a booth instead of sitting at the bar? They came in, and pretty much sat on the same barstool, the whole time they were there interspersed with kisses and gropes. Ugh.. enough to make a (single) guy sick. LOL
Anyway, this weekend has been pretty boring. I went to The Abbey (coffee shop in Broad Ripple) and read for a few hours. Today I went biking on the Monon Trail and ended up at the new Internet cafe in Broad Ripple. It’s called Netheads. It’s a great place. Tons of on-line games, internet access, food, drink – for $5 an hour. Not too bad really. I’m thinking about getting a weekend job there. They’re gonna start serving beer and wine, so maybe I could get a job as a bartender or something. That would kick some serious ass. Gotta stop by sometime and ask about that.
Not much else to update. I’m at work (again) on a Saturday, trying to work more on this damn prototype for our new install wizard. Blech… I worked 50 hours last week, and this week is probably gonna be really busy too. Actually, it’s probably gonna be busy until the end of June, when (theoretically) this project needs to be done by.
Gotta run. Stay cool, be superbad. (I”ve been watching too much Good Vs. Evil)
[editor's note: from 11/30/1999 until 04/27/2000, my site was "Slumbering Angry", my very first blog. I found these files on an old CD I burnt back in 2000 and thought I would include them on this site for historical purposes. I was one moody bastard back then.]
