So it’s Haloween. Candy, Trick or Treaters, and “Fun SIze” candy. At the risk
of sounding Seinfeldian, what is the deal with Fun Size? Has that specific size of M&M’s been found to be the most fun?
Is that teeny tiny Three Musketeers bar the most fun you can have with nougat and chocolate? WOuld anything more just be
too much fun to handle, or worse yet, no fun at all? Is any smaller incredible boring? I just find it odd that the
“ad wizards that came up with that one” (obscure SNL reference with, oddly enough, Jerry Seinfeld hosting) decided that they
could better sell small, overpriced candy if they called it “Fun Sized”.

I’ve been having a lot of really strange dreams lately. Not sleeping well, and just getting these really realistic dreams. But then I usually forget them really quickly. So I got uip this morning and decided to write about two I had just before I woke up.

I was watching The Invisible Man on Sci-Fi tonight. That’s a cool show. Anyway, it ended with a cool quote that went “Time leaves a big nasty scar called the past.” That is so cool and so true. Getting over anything bad that happens in the past takes time, and that time leaves a scar. Hopefully, the scar makes you tougher and not uglier.

No, this is not about my idea for a shirt design for the radio station here on campus, although it
is pretty sweet. This update is about something I saw in movies being released this coming weekend.
Entitled, “MVP: Most Valuable Primate”
It is the touching store of a monkey that plays hockey!!!!

UPDATED! I added some pictures to the Photo Gallery. Check ‘em out.
I went to an Indianapolis Ice
hockey game with my brother and sister on Saturday night. Damn that was fun. The Ice won, 6-3, and my sister’s favorite
player (and rapidly becoming mine), Yvan Corbin, scored a hat trick and also recorded an assist. What a fun game that was. At
one point, Indy had just scored a goal, and on teh faceoff, one of the Ice players slapped it into the opposing territory.
Well, the goalie went over to get it, but it bounced wierd off the boards and right into the opposing goal. It was about
5 or 10 seconds after the last goal, so the whole place went nuts. They play their games at the Pepsi Coluseum at the
State Fairgrounds, so if you’re in the area and want to see a great hockey game, go to an Ice game. You won’t be disappointed.

Well, it’s fall break. I should have headed home yesterday morning, but I needed to finish writing my summary of existing research on my Economics research topic. There’s alot of stuff out there. My topic (I think I’ve said it before) is about the relationship between GDP and the money supply. It’s sort of interesting. Once I get my final research paper done I’ll put it up on here I think. It’ll be good for you if you can’t get to sleep.

Yessss… it’s football season! That means lazy Sundays not getting any homework done, eating too many munchies, and drinking some beer. Yeah football! The Colts are playing the Patriots right now. Doing okay. I still don’t think the Colts have really played their best yet (except maybe the Jacksonville game). Their running game hasn’t looked great yet this season though. But at least Manning is getting passes to alot of different receivers and spreading the ball around. That’s a very good thing for the offense.
