Well, I finally did something crazy and just fo rthe fun of it. Imet Liz after she was off work and we hung out for a bit then we colored my hair. It’s now a more burgundy-ish darker-is reddish color. The picture to the left doesn’t really do it justice. Also got a new haircut. Going for a “messy look” as she calls it’ I relaly really like it. No, strike that, I love it. I really needed to just do something different and maybe a bit off for once. It’s kick ass. Here’s a couple more pictures of my new hair that are a bit better (except they make it look too purple, which it’s not). Here’s one and another. Anyway, yeah, pretty damn cool.

Well, I’m headed home for Thanksgiving later tonight, so I wanted to post some qucik stuff I thought up or thought was funny at work. Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving and eats mucho turkyo.
There was a customer buying a $50 gift certificate and a card. He said “nothing like last minute.” I said “yeah, I always forget birthdays”. Then he said “My trainer is leaving my gym…” THi sdude is buying his trainer a $50 gift certificate?!

So I went to another movie with Jen from work last night. I’m not sure what to make of that whole thing. I mean, she’s real nice and all, and we had a good time.I’m just not really… I dunno.. interested in her as more than a friend. Hopefully that’s all she’s looking at it as as well. I thinkt hat’s the case, I’m just not sure how to make sure. Wow… was that a correct sentance? “… at it as as well.” hehehe

Well, it seems my shyness runs in the family. I was at my grandparents’ (dad’s side) house for an early thanksgiving thing, and my uncle (dad’s brother) was there, as well as my aunt and my dad. Anyway, my grandpa talked a bit about how when he was in London during WWII, there was the Red Cross club where there was lots of dancing and “willing English women” (his words). My uncle asked if he went and danced, andhe said “no, too shy”. Instantly, my dad and my uncle and I all said pretty much the same thing “yeah, same here”. That was so funny! Kinda sad in a way, but funny anyway.
I just wanted to share that story.

I need to look for a second job. Blah. I don’t know where either. I need to stop by Starbucks in a few places, Best Buy, maybe Radio Shack, and I thought abotu working at the movie theater, but I’m not sure about that one. Gahhhh that SUCKS. I am barely motivated enough as it is, let along work 60 hours a week and still try to find a “real” job in this economy.

I think I’m gonna watch the Colts today, then go to another Indianapolis Ice game tonight at 5pm and hope that Arizona wins the World Series tonight.
There’s not much else right now. I’m kinda down and stuff and my back is still bugging me.
You should check out the Haloween design for Halfprojec+. It’s really cool. I wish I could draw…. my site would look so much snazzier. I still want to do an art size for Liz with her art and my web design. Gotta talk to her about that….
Work: Work is work. I sent up my internal application at Borders to hopefully get a position at the corporate office doing some IT stuff. I would LOVe to work for them, even though the pay would probably be lower than a software industry job. I am REALLY disolusioned with the software industry right now. New economy my ass. I just about told a woman off onthe phone Tuesday when I was making calls about jobs. I can just hear “we’re looking for someone more experienced” so many times until I wanna snap. I did finish her sentace for her “… but we’ll keep your resume on file for six months an dlet you know if anything comes up that matches your skills.” Probably not the best way to get a job, but damn, I could DO that job (it was a web design job).
