Hmmmmmm why is the White House telling Democrats to scale back their investigation as to what inadiquacies in the Federal government allowed Setp. 11th to happen? (story here) And why don’t you see this on the news? Maybe because the White House ignored warnings, from among others, the Gore Comission that outlined severe problems in airline security?

Did you know that Bush’s “Economic Stimulus” he wants passed includes tax credits for corporations that, among other things, will give Enron a quarter of a billion dollars in a tax credit even though Enron has not paid taxes 4 out of the last 5 years?

You must read this.

Not much to write. I’m just going to try and make a point of doing at least a short update every day. That was the point of this site anyway.

I just got done reading a 551 page users manual for our main product here at NSI. It’s a cool product, but talk about dry reading!!! Now I have a 286 page document to read, then QA documents, then I gotta try and learn a piece of software and start getting my feet wet. Yipes. I just hope I don’t suck at this job…. I don’t think I will, but still, I’m nervous.

Well, I’m off now. Skipped lunch so now I need to grab a bite to eat then head to Kokomo to deposit a check from Borders, then home to grab some stuff from IBM about a $2000 check I sent back to them that they think I owe taxes on, then back to Indy to pick up Kyleane and do something tonight, then to sleep, then back to work tomorrow.

The old cycle has begun anew. Cubicle eat random stuff sleep cubicle eat random stuff sleep cubicle eat random stuff sleep…

Well, I’m back from my first day. Went well I think. Got introduced around and met a couple people I’ve worked with before when I was at Tivoli as an intern. That’s neat. Then did a bunch of reading of manuals and documents and stuff. Probably will be doing a bunch more of that tomorrow. Anyway, I’ll keep ya posted how the new job is going. I just better not get laid off again. *knock on wood*

Okay, so here’s the deal. I am really conflicted as to what to do about my situation with Liz. She’s not ready for a serious relationship, and I can totally understand that. She wants to date me, but also wants to date some other guys too. At first I was handling it fine. But lately, she’s never realyl called me and we haven’t been able to do anything for a month, so my paranoia/worry level has gone up alot. With my issues, it’s natural.

I don’t wanna get into it too much on here considering I haven’t even talked to Liz about it, but I can’t take it anymore. The girl just doesn’t grasp the fact that she’s dealing with a real person’s REAL feelings. Strong feelings I might add.

Yup. Ya read that title right. I’m such a stupidhead boobyface. Or something like that. It’s just Liz, well, she has a real communication problem. She doesn’t call when she says she will, and ends up going out or whatever on nights that she says she’ll call and possibly work out doing something with me. I talked to her this morning, she admits she needs to make more of an effort. I asked a big question of her - is she happy? Do I make her happy or detract from her happiness. She said yes. I beleive her, mostly, although I still wonder a tiny bit if she’d tell me a negative answer for fear of huring me or something.

Awwwww yeahhhhhhhhh I got a job!!!!!! I actually got 2 offers today in the span of 15 minutes. I ended up taking the one at NSI because it’s a full time thing and the benefits there kick mucho asso and stuff. The pay ain’t bad either (although it certainly isn’t what I was getting at the last place, but still more than I expected.) Anyway, I’m all excited and stuff now. Like, really excited. Trying to plana way to go out with Liz and celebrate. I’m wanting to tak eher to dinner, like a nice dinner and stuff where we gotta kinda dress up or something. That’d be kinda cool. (On a side note about Liz, that girl needs to learn to call people when she says she will… “I’ll call you after class Tuesday” tick… tock… tick… tock… no call. One of my pet peeves, especially with my relationship paranoia and my hope we’re gonna end up for real together here soon..)
