In his new column on Salon, Olbermann tackles an important issue… how the news’ obsession with Clinton’s penis, if not caused helped quite a bit, us ignoring the real stories of the day and the real dangers: terrorism. Here’s a clip from it:
Alas, no. It will never occur to Coulter that in the vast crowd of us who appeared on television news in 1998, and focused entirely on the itinerary of President Clinton’s genitalia, she was up near the front. It’s a big crowd, and some of us tried to disperse it. But we’re all there — I’m including myself — and as we head to purgatory for our sins, if not hell, we should all solemnly acknowledge that in fact there most obviously was something else to which we should have been paying attention, and didn’t.

If you didn’t see it, it was GREAT. It showed the good and bad sides of drug use and how the War On Drugs is a MAJOR failure that people are starting to re-examine. You might want to check out the ABCNews.com story on the broadcast. Also, contact ABC and thank them for having the courage to air this show. In this day and age of extreme right wing bias in the media it takes alot of guts to air something this liberal and progressive.

I’m currently listening to all the MP3s from all the Cowboy Bebop soundtracks. I was sooo psyched to find a site yesterday with all of the MP3s available. I would link to it but it seems that today it is gone!!!! Damn, now how am I going to get them all home. Oh well.

Check out this article. It seems they have. So watch it when you use your preferred customer card and other similar things. Big Brother is watching! If you happen to buy similar stuff to terrorists, you might be singled out and watched even more. Who knows what stuff will go on your record and effect you in the future.

Well, had an okay weekend. Actually, a pretty boring weekend except for yesterday. Friday I stayed home and watched a couple movies. Office Space and Clerks. Saturday I slept in (yay) and then went to Broadripple and had coffee and read and was generally lazy. Ran into Brian at Starbucks. We’re gonna grab lunch today (glad I wrote this, I almost forgot!!!).
