Well, I had my three days of training for the radio gig over at ESPN 950. It’s pretty cool. I can even ride my bike there from my apartment since it’s downtown. Anyway, I’ll pretty much be doing engineering work for 4 hours on Saturday mornings. I’ll be engineering the local college football show, then the first half of the first college football game we broadcast. Last night (Friday) I had to fill in engineering their local high school football show. I had to board op (run the board that controls everything), get reporters on the phone, and basically keep the thing running for pregame and the first half of action. Wow…. was alot of fun, but really got thrown into the fire.

Yeah, know how I mentioned a couple days ago about Bush’s fundraising and how it’s more than Clinton’s, etc? Well here is a story about it. Seems Bush has raised $110 million this year for the GOP & GOP candidates. This is a midterm election year. In Clonton’s first midterm election (1994) he raised $50 million. In Clinton’s final year (a presidential election, 2000) he raised $105 million. So in his first midterm year, Bush has raised $5 million more than Clinton did in his final Presidential year to support the election of a new Democrat to office.

I may or may not be around much for the next week or so. My computer at home is still D.E.D. DEAD and I’m taking next week off of work. I’m probably going to update at least once this weekend from Netheads but then next week I think I am going camping and will be Inter Net Less for a few days. I will probably try to do a Large Angry Update about the whole baseball thing if it doesn’t get sorted out by later today. I shall also include a Not So Large But Even More Angry Update about politics (of course. what’s new?) But right now I must get to Work Stuff I Get Paid For.
GOnna post just a few quickie news links, mostly political. I’m gonna start out with a kinda funny one though:
* Fishermen find severed head. The funniest part? They decided to keep on fishing and report it when they came in. THey just put the head in a back and stuck it in a bucket.

Check out Eric Harshbarger and his Legos. He’s built a variety of really large lego models and mosaics. Seriously, this stuff is amazing. Especially his working grandfather clock and mosaic of the San Francisco skyline.
Wow. ANd the best I could do was to build crappy “houses” out of my Legos.
I just, for some reason, had a couple of childhood memories. See, my brother and I always got along really well. We never really ever had a physical fight, and rarely fought at all. But I do remember a couple times I was a little… mean. He’s just over 2 years younger than me so we played with alot of the same stuff.

Well, it seems my computer at home is dead. D. E. D. Dead. I tried updating to Windows XP (both an update and clean install) and it crashes at a certain part of the install every time. From talking to a couple people here at work it seems I have so em messed up memory. I’m thinking I’m just going to get a new system. This one is just plain pissing me off and running really shitty as it is. Dunno. I still need to try re-installing Win98 but I’m tired of that OS and it’s crap. It also may be my Bus. I got a warning when I tried to upgrade that it isn’t compatible with Windows XP, which would mean I’d need a whole new motherboard. Yay. What FUN!

Seriously. I hate coming up with title entries. Kinda sad that tat least three of my entry titles have been about how I hate making up entry titles. What a sad life.
Annnyways, I hung out with Amy last night. We had a mutual bitch session about Kyleane and how she’s blowing us off and being downright shitty to us. That was relaxing. And man, Amy should get a job as a therapist. She and I talked some and she saw right through my crap and to the fact I kinda held on to Kyleane in my mind as a safety net. Damn that girl’s good.

Yes, that’s right. I have found the single funniest website to ever exist, and probably the funniest that ever will exist. Villain Supply. “Your best online source for everything EVIL.”
There’s so much stuff on this site it’ll take me hours to get through it all, and I’ll be laughing in my cubicle like a maniac to boot. (Okay, not really. I have work to do. I’ll read it all at home. But it’s fun to imagine cackling like a nutcase in my cubicle and making everyone wonder about me.)
