trackback spam

apparently a post about half a month old got some trackback spam. unfortunately I can’t find out how to manage trackbacks in the WP admin console. But the good news is that it looks like my SpamKarma plugin killed a comment spam (just one hit it) that somehow got through my htaccess rules and HashCash plugin. If anyone knows of a trackback managing plugin or trackback spam blocker for WP leave a comment. I want to get it off the “recent comments” list to the right. I think it’s a trackback because it’s not showing up in the manage comments part of the WP admin panel.

Update: I think I figured it out. I think it’s the spam that was eaten by SpamKarma but for some reason is still showing up as a “recent comment.” It might not have gotten deleted from all of the database tables. I’m going to contact the guy who wrote SpamKarma and see if that’s possibly what is going on.
