First we find out that liberals just want to hug Osama and want our troops to die. Then we learn that Democrats would be engaging in guerrilla warfare against our troops. (both linked here) Now we learn that it’s liberals that make priests diddle young boys.
Now that Bush’s poll numbers are dropping like turkeys from a helicopter, they can’t go raising the terror alert when the polls drop anymore and another “mission accomplished” banner would just look bad. There are no more magical “turning points” in Iraq to wait on and use for poll propping. Now we’re looking at the ramped up demonization of liberals and Democrats as the newest line of attack.
I’m personally waiting for a “liberals cause acne” campaign targeted towards youth. Maybe Sen. Frist can diagnose some poor 15 year old with acute liberal-caused acne via a webcam or something.
And it’s not just liberals. Even Republicans who dare criticize our situation in Iraq aren’t immune.
At least we have more shark attacks to take our minds off all this stuff…. ahhh yes. The return to “serious and sober news.” :\
