Okay, I’m one of those suckers that got drawn into the Fox TV show Prison Break. I know, I know, but it’s one of those shows that can be really enjoyable as long as you suspend a ton of disbelief. And I’ve been enjoying it alot.
But DAMN, how do you end the season of a show called “Prison Break” with the escape (finally!) only to find out they can’t get out, his brother is 24 hours from execution, his ex-girlfriend/lawyer is in an alley with the hired thug/killer and we have to wait until MARCH?! This is why I don’t like the new TV half-season thing some networks are doing. Why can’t they run it right after the new year? What are they going to replace it with? Animal Vs. America’s Top Fat Actress Model Idol?
(Oh and the bastards will show crap like that but won’t promote and use good time slots for an amazing show like Arrested Development?)

This bank robbery happened right where the road back into my office complex meets 82nd street. We were watching through my office window as cops went the wrong way on 465 eastbound ’s right shoulder along the lake in front of my office and down towards the White River bridge. Another police car came through the road in front of our office a couple time. Who says nothing exciting happens in Indianapolis?

And these studies tell us that there’s a strong relationship between temperature and greenhouse gases,” said Oregon State’s Brook. “Which logically leads you to the conclusion that maybe we should worry about temperature change in the future.”
Yes there is such a thing as global climate change, yes it is being strongly influenced by man, and yes we shoudl FUCKING DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. Maybe before, you know, our coasts are UNDER WATER.
Update: Seas rising at twice the rate of 150 years ago. at this rate sea levels will rise by 1 inch in 13 years. But hey, we dont’ need to enact stronger environmental protections to try and slow that down. I mean, the only people effected will be those commie liberal coasts and a bunch of brown people that aren’t Americans, right? /sarcasm.

You’ve got to be fucking kidding me. Our President, “leader of the free world”, wanted to bomb an independant press agency in a separate independant secular Arab nation. Not only that, but now there are questions if the “accidental” bombing of it’s Baghdad office was truly accidental in this light.
And to those who will say that this can’t be real and it’s all made up, if it was made up why would the British government be prosecuting the two peopel who leaked the memo and threatening to prosecute the newspapers who published the story under the Official Secrets Act?
This is what our country has come to. Wanting to bomb and kill journalists who say things we don’t like. This isn’t the America I love. This isn’t America at all.
Jeebus H. Crisco, things are worse than I feared. If this is even 10% true (and the whole British government prosecution of the leakers indicates it’s FAR more than 10% true), we’re being led by a madman.
