Congressional Attendance : IN-08 Hostettler (R)

#8 in the 9 part series looking at the stats for Indiana's congressional delegation brings us to Rep. John Hostettler, he of the "oops I brought a gun to an airport" . Speaking of The One With The Hair So Harshly Parted It Makes Washington Look Bipartisan, he has been accused of saying abortions lead to breast cancer, co-sponsored a bill to get rid of the Department of Education (and supposedly told IU students that was his wish back in 1994, as well as getting rid of federal student loans), thinks divorce is just as bad as those scary gay people, voted against aid for Katrina victims, and now stAllio! has some interesting things to say about a recent little mini-scandal involving an overzealous Hostettler supporter trolling Facebook and finding a picture of his opponent's daughter engaging in underage drinking and leading to the question of whether the Hostettler campaign is behind it (due to his campaign's lack of denouncing this action)
. The Bloody 8th indeed. Enough of my longwindedness about The Parted One, stats below the fold:

Quick & Dirty Analysis: Well, I am shocked at how "low" his winning percentage is compared to others in the GOP delegation from Indiana. But given Hostettler's track record of craziness, it might just be because he votes for all the really crazy stuff that even people like Chocola and Pence don't vote for.
