More goodies below the fold

2005

  • Biggest rubber stamp: IN-09 Mike Sodrel (R), 90.9% winning
    Now that’s party line!
  • Biggest obstructionist: IN-07 Julia Carson (D), 45.6% losing
Voting with the winners 54% of the time is hardly obstructionist
  • Worst attendance: IN-07 Julia Carson (D), 92.8%
the delegation is doing alright when the lowest attendance is almost 93%

2006 (through 6/6)

  • Biggest rubber stamp: IN-03 Mark Souder (R), 88.7%
    Only 88.7%.
  • Biggest obstructionist: IN-07 Julia Carson (D), 47.2%
Again, not very obstructionist when you’re still voting with the winner over 50% of the time
  • Worst attendance: IN-04 Steve Buyer (R), 88.7%
Sub 90% for both Buyer and Burton.

2005-2006 (through 6/6/06)

  • Biggest rubber stamp: IN-09 Mike Sodrel (R), 90.2%
Sodrel knows only one thing when it comes to votes: “How do you want me to vote, sir?”
  • Biggest obstructionist: IN-07 Julia Carson (D), 46.0%
    I tire of repeating myself.
  • Worst attendance: IN-04 Steve Buyer (R), 91.9%
It’s sill y to argue about 92% attendance, but if anyone should be talked about when it comes to the last two years, it’s Buyer.

That’s all! If I can ever find the time to get this script running faster, I’ll release it to the world. I’d also like to someday look at the winning/losing percentages of people like Burton under Democratic houses to compare to Democrats under Republicans.
