Well Shit
I’m not really up for dissecting everything from the election yesterday. I will say that apparently 77,000+ Marion County residents would rather vote for someone with only two or three talking points and no concrete plans over an incumbent who has done a ton for this city all over a property tax issue that the Mayor’s office and the City County Council have very little control over. Great job there, people.

Right after Ballard made that Chinatown comment, I wrote him a letter suggesting we import 100,000 Chinese men and give them the whole South Side in exchange for building us a rail system. I also said the opium dens in the new Chinatown would help cure the meth problem. He probably took me seriously and is investigating the logistics of it all right now.
