I had my second tattoo session last night. 5 hours, lasting until the wee hour of 1:30am. I do believe I have found my upper limit of tattoo time: 4 hours. But Conan rocks like you wouldn’t believe and busted out a numbing agent to get us through that last hour in a breeze.

So last I wrote, I had officially decided to wait on Conan Lea’s waiting list for my tattoo. Well today was my first session. And let me just say, Conan kicks ass. If you are in the Indy area and want a kick ass, fine art tattoo, he is your man.

Update: Definitely still going with Conan Lea. It’ll be worth the wait, and fitting that Orion will be high in the sky once his waiting list frees up.

I think I figured out where to get a great tattoo in Indianapolis. Conan Lea. His work looks absolutely amazing. Unfortunately he’s got a long waiting list so it’ll be summer before I can get an appointment.

Can anyone recommend a good tattoo artist in the Indianapolis area? Just wondering. The reviews for Indy Tattoo Works on Citysearch seem all very good but if there are any other recommendations, leave a comments.
