Elon Musk said Saturday his company SpaceX's Starlink satellite broadband service had been actuated in Ukraine, after a Kyiv functionary prompted the tech Goliath to give his embattled country with stations. 

The tweet came some 10 hours after Ukrainian Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov prompted Musk to give Starlink services to Ukraine, days after it was raided by bordering Russia. 


"While you try to populate Mars-- Russia try to enthrall Ukraine! While your rockets successfully land from space-- Russian rockets attack Ukrainian civil people! We ask you to give Ukraine with Starlink stations,"Fedorov twittered at Musk. 

He also called on the billionaire"to address stable Russians to stand"against their government's irruption. 


 Internet examiner NetBlocks said Ukraine has seen a"series of significant dislocations to internet service"since Thursday, when Russia launched military operations in the country. 

Starlink operates a constellation of further than satellites that aim to give internet access across the earth. 


 The company on Friday launched a farther 50 Starlink satellites and numerous further are slated to be put into Earth's route. 

 Elon Musk said his Starlink satellite service is over and running in Ukraine, responding to a plea from the deputy high minister to supply satellite- grounded dispatches to help repel Russia’s irruption of the country. 

 Further Starlink outstations are en route, Musk twittered Saturday in reply to Mykhailo Fedorov’s conjuration, without explaining how the outfit would get there.



 Musk’s SpaceX plans to take thousands of Starlink satellites into route, creating an internet- service constellation that would work as a low- cost volition to remote land- grounded systems that are vulnerable to interruption.
